Eager to comb through the streets and hidden valleys of Chiang Mai, I followed my friend to the elusive and underground mineral hot springs spot located about 25 kilometers outside the city center. Ready to welcome some serious R & R (a traveler's MUST), I took in some of the incredible natural wonders of +100 degree C hot baths and geisers, created by the earth's natural atmospheric reactions. I came in tired, weary and sunburnt, and left feeling fresh as a daisy. This little miss is now convinced by Mother Nature's natural curing abilities, and ready to venture out and find more soothing and skin-cleansing treats.
I couldn't help but fall in love with this little kitty |
The steaming mineral hot spring waters |
natural geiser |
3 minutes to boil an egg- it's that hot! |
relaxing in the mineral pool |
Loving the mini waterfall right over my head |
Feeling clean and serene! |
